Battle Rhymes Pt 1 - Tahrir

I decided to start a series of battle rhymes about the different events and places worldwide where the people rise up against injustice, corruption, greed and tyranny. Part One is dedicated to the courageous Egyptians still fighting after Mubarak's end against a ruthless army council which is trying to keep still the full control over the country and the society.

between the banners and tents
the people started to rant
about injustice intent
the regime represent
but the army command
to crackdown the event
ignoring the discontent
oppressing all the dissent

with Hosnis downfall the substantial demand seems fulfilled
but SCAF decided to continue to beat and to kill
to break the protesters intention and will
by sending soldiers with most brutal skills

the old man on the stretcher's waiting for his justified trial
public attention raised not only alongside the nile
meanwhile the SCAF thugs' emotionless style
provoking more than just a bittersweet smile

between the houses and trades
exploding teargas grenades
cops kicking ruthlessly maids
refusing medical aids
to do their job and provide
the lifeless lying at night
an understood human right
in every honorable fight

but honor is the last thing bloody SCAF thugs possess
instead of they continue their disgraceful excess
undress, hunt press, suppress, finally dispossess
the freedom spirit but they miserably fail to success

cause they have underestimateted peoples unbreakable power
resilience growing day by day and hour by hour
to overthrow the SCAF's immoral ivory tower
holding high with pride the bright kefaya resistance flower
